Privacy Policy

Nextly Studio is operated by Corton Labs (Ontario, Canada). This page explains in plain language what the app collects and how it is used.

What we collect

• Account information: your email address and sign-in details are managed by our sign-in service. We never need your password to provide support.
• What you save: your business details (service, audience, tone, default currency, your name and an optional coach or peer email) and your attempts: the details you type for a task, the draft, your edits, the outcome, notes and summary text.
• Basic technical data: the hosting platform collects basic usage analytics (such as page path, referrer, device type and screen size) and error reports to run and improve the service.

How we use it

• To run the app: sign you in, save your attempts and show your weekly progress.
• To write drafts: when you create a draft, the details you enter for that task, the option you choose under "What's holding you back?", any note you add to it, and your saved service, audience and tone are sent through the Lovable AI gateway to the configured model provider (currently OpenAI). The dedicated name and coach-email fields are not included in drafting requests. Information you type into task fields may be included, so avoid unnecessary personal or sensitive details.
• AI providers may retain request data under their applicable policies. See the Lovable privacy policy and OpenAI's privacy policy. Nextly Studio never sends or posts anything for you.
• To keep the service reliable and fair, for example the daily draft limit and fixing problems.

Who can see it

• Your attempts and business details are visible only to your account. Corton Labs can technically access stored data to run and fix the service and does so only for that purpose.
• If you use "Email to my coach or peer", the email opens in your own email app. Nextly Studio sends nothing, and you choose what to send.

Your choices

• You can delete any attempt and clear your business details in the app.
• To have your account and everything stored with it deleted, email hello@cortonlabs.com.

Please don't enter sensitive information

Do not enter health details, payment card or bank numbers, or passwords. Use a first name or placeholder for prospects and clients. Avoid entering their contact details, confidential documents or other personal information that is not needed for the task.

Cookies, storage and third parties

• Nextly Studio does not use advertising cookies and does not sell your data. Separately from advertising, the hosting platform collects basic usage analytics and error reports, as described above.
• The hosting platform may set technical cookies needed for security and to deliver the site.
• Your browser's local storage holds your login session information and interface preferences, such as whether you have dismissed the "Start here" checklist.
• Fonts (DM Sans and Fraunces) are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google, which receives your IP address. See Google Fonts privacy FAQ.

Where your data is processed

• Database: your account, business details and attempts are stored in a database hosted in the United States (AWS).
• Hosting: the app runs on a global edge network, so requests may be handled in data centres in other countries.
• AI drafting: draft requests are processed by the AI gateway and model provider, which may be in other countries, including the United States.

This means your information is processed outside Canada.

How long we keep your data

Your attempts and business details are kept until you delete them or ask us to. Deleting an attempt removes it from the active database, but backup copies may remain for a limited time. There is no delete-account button yet. To have your account and everything stored with it deleted, email hello@cortonlabs.com and we will remove it by hand.
